Why you need a website.
As a saying goes thus, "If you cannot be them, join them." Some people are still living in the past simply because they refuse to join the train to progress and development. Such people often complain over and over while their counterparts are making progress.
I did a survey about two months ago by giving out a questionnaire to know how many Nigerians got a website. From the survey, I discovered that about 35 percent of Nigerians have a website while the remaining 65 percent do not. Thus, it shows that many Nigerians both young and old are still living in the past.
You may ask,"Why do I need a website?" There are many benefits of hosting a website. One, if you have a website, you have better opportunities on the internet than those that do not. Do you know that there are many things you can do with your website? You can host a personal website and start posting things like your biography, your pictures and that of your friends'. You can also write about your family and the kind of things you do in order to promote yourself. You can also post other interesting topics like Entertainment gists, jokes and sports for your visitors to enjoy and keep logging in to your website everyday.
If you are a member of a group or an organisation, you can build a website for your group or organisation with the support of other members of the group or organisation. You can explore this channel to create an impression about your group or organisation.
If you are a business man or a business woman, you also need a website. Many business tycoons are ignorant of the fact that hosting a website is one of the powerful tools for the success of their business. So, whether you operate on a small scale or on a large scale, there's need for you to create a website and advertise your business. When you do this, you can reach millions of people across the globe, thus, having more customers and earning more.
Although, most companies that register websites for people demand money from their customers yet, there are few ones who give them out for free. That is, if you register a website with these companies, you are not going to pay a deem. However, they only give one a sub-domain website and not a domain website. Both sub-domain and domain websites do the same functions but the differences are: most sub-domain websites are free of charge while domains come with a charge of money. Secondly, a sub-domain website is registered under the company's name that provide the website. For instance, if the company's address is 4t.com, you will get a web address like www.adex.4t.com or if it is webs.com you'll have www.flawlessgroup.webs.com. But for a domain, the company's web address will not appear in your web address, so you can have something like www.adex.com
