Welcome to us, the first alternative movement of the modern world. We inspired Picasso to break away, Elvis to rock and every one to ride a train, we built her tracks. We are the holders of African renaissance we were the first movement of people and the first renaissance of American humanitarian thought. We were the first to boycott falsity and the first underground anything. We were the first time mothers shook their hips and daddies took a walk on the wild hall of shame. We were the first to cause the majority to know shame and to make evident that the inalienable rights are superior to privileges. Who should say that character is a matter of class or intelligence a matter of race? Our experience is old enough to know that destiny is not a promise but a quest – a journey on a lonely road, an exodus towards a world of truth about ourselves and everything that we touch and every where that we step with our colored soul. It reminds us that those who were struck down for looking up were only bending to lift us up.

Who are we? We the dark men of coloured skin and of dark skill but yet pure from the horse head continent, the black mother earth. We are the achievers, the dreamers, vissioners, investors, wall-breakers, barrier benders, the movers, shakers and shifters but first we are men of the earth. We are men of the black continent where our trees, mountains castles and skies are covered with black faces, the Sacred people of ancient wisdom, treading the pathway if the gods. Our hands are craftily blessed that is why they seem reckless – our hands make music and yet they were first of champions and freedom fighters. Our hearts span the globe, for out of it flows the rivers of joy, happiness and contempt, from Egypt to the North Pole where we have made our marks as people of peace and tranquility, of strong will and perseverance. But our curiosity is not bound by measure because we are men of infinity wisdom. Inventors of the traffic light and bringers of the first ever successful heart transplant. We are children that play in the fire hydrant of summer, runners over the wild hills with naked chest and pants, children tamed by the wild and chastened by the mild and gentle.

We are the ones who protect our shores and loved ones with all that we’ve gat from threats of our fellow men. Ours is the place of the painful but still of utmost joyful burden of motherhood and the gradual natured dreams of fathers and the quite aspirations of kinsmen. We are the bricklayers, the runners and flyers whom without wing soar like the white necked eagle. We are the marchers, the dancers, the beaters of the tom tom and the scholars – the preachers, teachers and doers… we are unique, our skin is the colour of strength and perseverance, sweetness and sweatness. Even our craft and music have colour – BLACK. We make you cry, laugh and shout. We are the beckon of style and passion for all to reckon. We are mighty men, whose population and strength was the fear of others, so we were taking out of our homes in sailing ship.

Whatever we touch we touch moves, the notes that we sing never stay put, they jump, flying up and down and all around. We don’t just talk we rap, we don’t just run, we fake and double take. We are not juts smart but we give them world sound, vibration harmony and soul. Who can do it like we do? There’s never one, because we are the only one to have walked the pathway of the gods and eat at their tables.
We are black men of black skin and soul with hands of strength contempt, struggle and survival, whose feet has span the globe, bringing achievement to where our black soul takes us. Right here, right now the black experience and outstanding history tells it. For it spells freedom, reminding every one to persevere and live deeply, to always hand on and to cherish life, giving us progression and giving you humanity and every one a higher hope. For we are people of higher calling, scared and consecrated on an island. BLACK stands for us and an embodiment of what we stand for. We are diverse people of diverse cultures like no other and displayers of ethnical artifacts. We are men of honour, who stand in the face of danger and still yet confidently beat our chest with our five fingers. We are children of the Giai raised and tamed by the three elements.

We are men the Black People of Africa. We are primarily men of the earth and the first stage of survival. We are the descendants of Nimrod, daughters of Isis and sons of Amon-Ra. We are the silent walkers of history, who tread its path and leave in-print. We are the men who understand the language of the tumbling waters of the sea, who paint with the colours of the sky, who understand the roaring of the wild forest, the rattling of the evening beetle, the buzzing of the ever busy bee.

This is our history, as i t was first laid out by the gods.... WELCOME TO US... WELCOME TO THE BLACKNESS.
