Ibo Oppressors

A Nigerian business tycoon was at a social gathering where other monguls and wealthy men were present. The Ibo businessman looked for all ways to oppress the other rich men who were present at the gathering. Just for that foolish reason, he sent for his driver and had this conversation with him:"Driver, go to my house, not the green one, the red one. Not the red one in Ikoyi, the red one in Victoria Island. Not the one in Adeola Odeku, the one on Etim Iyang Crescent. Not No 22, but No 11.It is a…See More

About Me:
Hey wat's up how 'r you doin? As much as I would like prefer people to describe me, let me take a moment to intro ma self as much as I can...
You can call me Okey (that's short for Okechukwu, as for my nickname call me Shogun) yeah my name has given me out as one from the Eastern part of this country (Anambra to be precise) but I was born and brought up here in Lagos (guess am qualified to be an Omo Eko she?) Am a xtian, first child/son from a family of 8 (mum and dad incl.)
Though am taller than alot of people I come across yet I can't say am a tall guy cos am not as tall as I want to be, but one thing am sure about me is that am not dark (but am a black man, ha!) am a bit on the fair side, between fat and thin, packs of muscle and chest just enough for my size. I do also, know that I love to watch movies (from Hollywood) and commedies and am still down with cartoons, love listening to music, lots of musics (infact that's what I do to relax ma mind, body and soul.) My kind of genre is hiphop/rap R&B and the slow ones when I need to sleep. I love reading novels, like to turn the pages of magazines, watch football (Chelsea is my team, UP BLUES!) NBA (am yet to have a team here cos I don't get to watch the game as I do with football, so all teams are my favourite so long as they ball good.)
I love to play video/PC games, board games like Ludo,Scrabble and, my favourite Chess. My favourite colour is Blue(you can say that's why I chose Chelsea as my team) and White, I love any food that adds atleast 1 nutrient to my body but am down with Akpu (Fufu) and Onugbu (bitter leaf) suop garnished with snails and lots of stock and dried fishes... yummieeee!!!! And oh, am a good cook, (I know that for schizzle cos people say so) I like fruits also...
Okay! I think that's just about an average description of me, you get to know me more when you meet me personally but I wont fail to mention that as of the time of typing this description about me, I just graduated from NAU (Computer Science) and am waiting for my NYSC.
What do you like most about Lagos?
What I like about lagos is the cool places one goes to wind up. The cinemas, the clubs, beaches you know.
What do you dislike most about Lagos?
TRAFIC JAMS! I can't stand them. But thank God for Fashola

Ibo Oppressors

A Nigerian business tycoon was at a social gathering where other monguls and wealthy men were present.

The Ibo businessman looked for all ways to oppress the other rich men who were present at the gathering. Just for that foolish reason, he sent for his driver and had this conversation with him:

How did Lagos become more expensive than L.A.?

Hey guys, I was browsing the net when I came across this article I'd like to share with you guys. Comments are welcomed.

"It's very rarely African cities get compared with their flashy European counterparts, yet, when it comes to cost of living Lagos isn't just competing with its neighbors in Europe -- it's beating them."

Nigeria's coastal economic and financial capital is the shock entry in the top 50 cities of this year's Mercer Cost of Living… Continue

Lets talk faith

Faith

Faith is a reasoning trust, a trust which reckons thoughtfully and confidently upon the trustworthiness of God. Hold faithfulness and sincerity as first principles. There comes a time in a man's life when to get where he has to go -if there are no doors and/or windows he walks through a wall. When you get into a light place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute, there are many things that are essential to arriving at true… Continue

LAZINESS

LAZINESS

When we are not aware of our potentialities, when we are not confident of our selves, we are afriad of facing problems and as a way of escaping, we don't act and keep idle. Laziness is an acquired habit, often due to a feeling of inadequacy.

The right thing to do is to derive inspiration from great people, work hard and try to reach great heights. What ever be the advantages and disadvantages in life, the way we exploit them, decides success or failure in… Continue

Q. What was the average age of a cave man?
A. Stone Age!

Q. What goes up and never comes down?
A. Your age!

Q. What party game do rabbits like to play?
A. Musical Hares!

Q. What did the bald man say when he got a comb for his birthday?
A. Thanks. I'll never part with it!

Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional.

It's not about age, it's about attitude.

HAPPY BUFF-DAY!!!
