Why do ladies hide their ages from guys

Ever wondered why ladies hige their ages from men likewise the same applies to th eincome earned by the latter party.Its so funny when you come to realise such fact.What are your own views cuz for me i dont see why both parties should lie about their ages if they truly love themselves.
