why lagosians dont socialise while riding on public transport

i have often wondered why do lagosians keep a long face anytime they are riding in public transport?i urge you to embark on a personal research into this issue. Everyone seem to be in a hurry and the cordiality that suppose to go with meeting strangers,have given way to stone-faced,non-smiling people in the buses.Maybe the harsh economic sitauation in the country can be attributed to this trend.
