Category A.SUPERINTENDENT(ASP) 08.
Must posses a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University.
A. A Nigerian by birth.
B.Not less than 18years and more than 35years of age.
C. Not less 1.7metres in height for male and 1.64metres for female.
D. Have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87 metres,male.
E. Be certified by a government Medical Officer to be physically and mentally fit for appointment in the Corp.
F. Not be suffering from any mental or physical disability.
G. Be free from any form of fiancial embarrassment.
H. Be of good character and must not have been found guilty of any criminal offense.
I. ASC I must have a Master's Degree from a recognized University
J. Entry level candidates for DSC must posses Ph.D from recognized University.
K. Apart from (j) above, all candidates aspiring to the ranks DSC and above must have a minimum of six years post qualification experience.

Applicants for the ranks of Inspector of Corps must be holders of HND obtained from Accredited Polytechnics.
Applicants for Assist Inspectors must be holders of NCE/OND obtained from a recognized institution or GCE 'A' in two subjects obtained at a sitting or three subjects obtained at two sittings.
All Applicants for the rank of Senior Inspectors must have at least three years post qualification experience.

Applicants must posses S.75 from government approved secondary schools or JSSCE in addition to Trade Test Certificates.
Corp Assist II.
Applicants must be holders of SSCE or its equivalent with credits in not less than five subjects with English and Mathematics inclusive. In case of GCE O' Level,applicants must posses five credits in not more than two sittings including English Language.
Corp Assist III Applicants must be holders of S.75 from government approved secondary school.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates are to submit to the local government area/divisional commands nearest to them,hand written application accompanied with copies of :
Birth Certificate/age declaration.
Letter of Identification endorsed by the Chairman/Secretary of your Local Government Area.
Two recent Passport Photographs.
NYSC Discharged Certificate or Exemption Letter.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS.
All applications accompanied with the relevant documents should be submitted not less than SIX WEEKS from the date of this advert.
II.Aptitude test for the Superintendent cadre will be published in two dailies and will be required to attend an interview at the Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Services Board, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
III. Names of shortlisted candidates for the Inspectorate and other cadres will be displayed at the various State Commands. Interview date will be announced in due course.
